Quotable Quotes - I
Very recently, on NDTV, i came across this quote by Shekhar Gupta, editor of The Indian Express, who in turn picked it up from one of his friends.
To appreciate an omlette, one doesnt have to lay an egg!And then there is this good quote in the movie, Sarkar.
Nazdiki fayda dekhne se pehle door ka nuksan dekho!Translated means.....before looking at short term benefits think of long term losses!
Just thought of penning these quotes here. Will keep adding as and when i come across good ones. I know this is a silly post. :) Will be coming up with a sports article with an inclination towards business side.

"to appreciate an omlette.." - I have no idea what is so special in this quote.. or perhaps the context would make it clear..(just hope it wasn't siddhu who coined it :D)

Sarkar quote is a good one. Imp one.
The Sarkar quote reminded me of a dialogue in The Godfather :
"Keep your friends close, but enemies closer"

Nirav: I feel ashamed to tell that i havent watched Godfather as yet. Had got the VCD last time..but wasnt able to see it completely. Will try to watch it soon. Do publish your insights too on business side of sports. Aussie sports system is one of the best, i suppose.
